I have grown up in a rural environment. To me, knives are not only used for hunting and fishing purposes, but are used every day. Camping, practicing bushcraft/minimalist firemaking and survival skills and work around the farm are just some of the ways a Lucas knife gets tested. This experience has greatly influenced my knife designs. From my heat-treatment method, to the shape of my handles, to the different blade finishes I employ, every knife is a product of my continued fine-tuning of the various design elements. I hope that you enjoy your visit to my site and feel free to contact me with any questions. Phone: (256) 431-6839
A note about visitors:
I live on a working homestead/farm. I welcome all phone, email and snail mail contact. Please keep in mind that I am operating my knifemaking business full-time at this point, so if I miss your call, it may take me a little while to get back with you. I do not have retail hours; however, you can call ahead and schedule a visit if you would like. I do not have a set schedule for 2017 shows at this time, due to the volume of custom orders that I have received.
