This historically inspired cutting tool is an English Pattern trade knife. It has an ash(oak may be substituted for ash) handle, O-1 blade, aged finish, and is also given a special historic look by the stamped “LF” on the facing side (instead of the regular etch), and on the facing side it has a marking of stamped dots that stand for the blade length: 5 dots, 5-inch blade! The blade is thin, about 3/32ths inch, similar to the old trade knives. It has a convex ground blade.
Overall length is about 9 1/2 inches.
